Biography
Chloe Francis is an accomplished trumpet player and educator based in the Greater-Boston area.
She has a Master's degree in Brass Performance from Boston University, where she studied with Terry Everson, and a Bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance and Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she studied with Dr. Jean-Christophe Dobrzelewski and Robert Skoniczin.
As a performer, Chloe enjoys playing different musical styles and has performed at international competitions, international conferences, and worked with a multitude of orchestras, chamber groups, theaters, and recording studios. She has played with A Far Cry, Cape Symphony, Cape Anne Symphony, Symphony New Hampshire, Boston Chamber Symphony, American Repertory Theatre, Cambridge Community Choir, and Moonbox Productions, among others.
As an instructor, Chloe’s teaching philosophy focuses on individualized education and her style supports diverse learners. Having taught 60+ students of all ages, she aims to help students develop a strong understanding of musical concepts while building a solid foundation for a lifelong love of music. In addition to her private studio, Chloe is the Trumpet Faculty at All Newton Music School in West Newton, MA, and a Trumpet Instructor at Wellesley Public Schools. Chloe has previously taught at Greensleeves Music in West Chester, PA and for the Community Music School at West Chester University.
